Another busy week at Tech Arts.  This was our final session at Food Tech, Electronics and Materials Tech.  We are looking forward to our new challenge next session.

Tech Arts Week 9

In Electronics, we were burning some wires together with a super hot iron .

Jacob learnt to be careful after finding how hot the iron really was.

In Food Technology today we learnt how to make wedges.  We could choose from cajan pepper, mixed herbs, mustard powder, curry powder, cumin and paprika to add flavour to our wedges.  Bennett and Matthew from Room 1 had the best presentation.

In Wood and Plastics, we started cutting the wood that we are going to use for the side of our boxes.

Tech Arts

Each week we attend Tech Arts at Havelock North Intermediate.  Today was the beginning of a new rotation.  We rotate every 7 weeks.

In Electronics, we connected wires and batteries together to make the light bulb shine.

In Food Tech, we used the frying pans to cook french toast.  Now we'll be able to make breakfast for our families in the weekend!!

In Wood and Plastics, we made model boxes in preparation for making our boxes out of wood over the next 7 weeks.
